| The Soshinkan dojo, a well established martial arts school in Burbank recently celebrated its 15 year anniversary by demonstrating some of the arts offered at the school. The dojo, who’s name translates as “Beginner’s Mind,” offers training in the arts of Aikido, Kenpo, Karate, Yoga and Zen Meditation. The school’s founder envisioned a place where people studying “the way” could do so under one roof. Each technique takes years to master but the results are almost poetic. the grace and and poise noticed in any martial artist is worth trying to attain. On top of mastering such an art, the dojo offers a place to meet like-minded people that have a sense of family on and off the mat. |
| The school is part of the Aikido Association of America and the Japanese Culture Center, which is dedicated to making Japanese arts, crafts and philosophical riches available to everyone.
