Oh the wires are alive with rumblings from the heart of Lemonworld and slowly but surely Underworld’s latest creations are edging their way onto the airwaves across the globe..

On Thursday Zane Lowe featured the first release “Scribble” from Underworld’s forthcoming album. A development on the drum and bass feel good jam called “You Do Scribble” that had featured strongly in their live performances over the past three years, “Scribble” is at once a huge departure from their traditional style and a return to the euphoric dance anthems that made them so hugely popular in the mid 90’s. The radio edit that has been released with this video does not do justice to the full 6+ minute version that was played as Pete Tong’s Essential Tune on Friday night.

Working closely on the production with Drum and Bass artist High Contrast this release will open Underworld to a whole new audience while also test the tolerance of their devoted fan base who will have to come to terms with Underworld’s ever evolving sound and lust for experimentation

With the sound of this new releases, and considering Diamond Jigsaw and Strumpet performed on tour last year there is a clear feeling that this album is both going to be a return to commercial dance for Underworld and a return to their original 80’s sound. The vibe is very much optomistic with lyrics like “its Ok, You give me everything I need” – this all runs true with an assurance that Underworld is about celebration… which is no doubt true for their epic world renowned live shows…

… The album is due to be released at the end of the Summer and in the mean time Underworld are performing at a series of Festivals in Australia and have more dates announced in Europe.. with more on the way.

“Los Hollywood” (LH) was formed in 2007 when Heidy (Vox), Marcos (Guitar/Bass) and Gustavo (Drums) decided to join forces and talents looking for a fresh sound and a new musical horizon. British Rock influences their music, yet they never forget their Latino roots.

In less than one year, LH quickly captured the attention of the public and the media. In the first months of 2008, LH entered the studio and recorded their debut album produced by Cuevo Perez of Carrusel Records. In June 2008, LH won the first “Myspace Latino Battle of the Bands.” This accomplishment gave LH the privilege of being one of the five bands sponsored nationwide by Myspace Latino for a one year period.

In May 2009, LH released their first self-titled EP through iTunes and was chosen as “Itunes Latino Hot Pick of the Week.” One week after their EP release, their single “No Te Aguites” was featured as “Itunes Latino Free Download of the Week.” In April 2009, Los Hollywood were invited to play the “Myspace Latino 1st Anniversary Showcase” in Miami, sharing the stage with Flex, Alex y Fido, Reik and Afrobeta.

Their first full length album is set for release in July 2009. The second week of July LH will perform at LAMC’s Indie and Acoustic Showcase in New York City followed by an East Coast promotional tour. (Dates TBA)
